As a Strategy & Sales Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for effectively mapping out our competitive landscape and tracking key competitors and new entrants, ultimately feeding into our product development and the identification of M&A opportunities.
You will be supporting the Sales Operations Director to drive rigour and performance improvement across the entire sales organization.
The role is a cornerstone between Strategy and Corporate Governance and will require someone who is both intuitive, understands the bigger picture, and has a passion for quality, ensuring that output is of sufficient quality for both the Board and the Executive team. This is a fantastic role for recent graduate who is keen to learn quickly from a small team that includes alumni from McKinsey, BCG and KPMG. We envisage the model candidate as an individual who can communicate well, and is both passionate and extremely proactive.

Research and formulate growth strategies for each one of our core sectors, drawing on both internal and external knowledge and experts
Work closely with the sector leads to identify specific new growth opportunities, drawing on wider macro-economic trends and country specific characteristics
Communicate and educate relevant employees across the organisation on our sector strategies
Refresh these sector strategies on a regular basis ensuring they are always relevant and fit-for-purpose
Define Achilles’s view of the global competitive ecosystem
Track changes to the competitive landscape, flagging significant threats and potential M&A opportunities
Perform detailed competitive analysis on key competitors for each of our core products and, using this knowledge, provide input into the development of those products
Overarching corporate governance
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to The Board (regular preparation of Board reports)
Scope the agenda for management strategic reviews and oversee the reporting of progress to The Board
Manage the administration of key meetings including agenda, working with Executive Team on their actions, minutes etc.
Manage internal stakeholders to deliver against agreed plans
Facilitate the reporting and maintain the BSC management system
Sales Operations support
Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and business intelligence
Assist Sales Management in identifying and addressing process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
Define and share best practice for CRM usage
Relevant work experience preferred but not essential
Upper second / first-class honours (or equivalent) from a top-tier university
Enthusiastic, personable, intelligent, and articulate with excellent written and spoken English
Excellent strategic agility, able to grasp and simplify complex problems quickly
Driven and motivated, keen to develop in role
Organised, well-structured and efficient
Confident, affable nature and able to build relationships and credibility in order to get things done
