Job Description:

PAE is seeking motivated individuals who want the opportunity to support the War on Terror in Afghanistan.

Global Analysis and Operations currently has an opening for a Senior HUMINT Analyst. The Senior HUMINT Analyst is responsible for researching, developing, presenting, and publishing HUMINT products at the tactical and operational level.

The Senior HUMINT Analyst will research targets and provide analysis related to insurgent activities, and threats to local/regional stability as part of an overall C-IED, COIN, and targeting analytical team. They will conduct analysis of raw and fused human intelligence and counterintelligence data of insurgents who are directly linked to the acquisition, production, transportation, emplacement and employment of IEDs

Additionally, Senior HUMINT Analysts provide input to multiple Government requirements and objectives and assist with the analysis and production of various intelligence products specifically focused on the C-IED mission set as well as supply analytical support for senior Military leaders.

They will attend meetings and conduct comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on force protection and threat-related current events and long-term trends that could impact the supported unit’s mission

HUMINT analysis related to threat awareness, force protection, and Indications and Warnings (I&W), mission planning, target development, damage assessment and counter- terrorism in the AOR and Afghanistan in general.

Required Education/Skills:

Education - Bachelor's Degree OR Associates Degree and four years additional analytical experience OR advanced analytical training and eight years analytical experience

Experience - 10 years of analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies with six years HUMINT/CI, COIN, or CT operational support experience such as MOS 35M--Human Intelligence Collector (HUMINT Collector), 18F Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant 180A SF WO, USMC -0211 Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist; 0231 Intelligence Specialist, U.S. Navy -Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF -1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N7X1 Intelligence Fusion Analyst, 7XOS1 -Special Investigator (SI)

Clearance - TS/SCI

Special skills or qualifications -

  • Expert knowledge in the following areas: SWA regional issues, political analysis, intelligence collection, and HUMINT or Cl analysis

  • Proficient in utilizing advanced computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development

  • Proficient at briefing senior leadership at the 06 level

  • Experience effectively mentoring junior and lid-level analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments

Desired Education/Skills:

  • Education - Master's Degree

  • Clearance - Cl Polygraph

  • Deployed experience preferred
