Configuration Management Analyst provides EMR Configuration and Release Management (CM/RM) support while performing various tasks to support Project activities in an Operations and Maintenance capacity.
Understand and execute CM/RM management plan.
Understand and support O&M activities (in an operational development capacity)
Provide support in system design, development, testing and implementation activities in regards to Product Delivery.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
The analyst will focus on change and release management activities in accordance with current RM/CM Management plan and project team guidelines.
Provide support and management of the Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities, audit and compliance with the established CM/RM management plan, and maintenance of the CM/RM database. Facilitate CCB meeting in the absence of senior CM/RM.
Install and configure builds in the appropriate environments as necessary.
Develop programs that streamline the release and configuration process.
Coordinate releases across various environments with vendors and CGI members as outlined in the CM/RM Management Plan
Generate and provide build report to client.
Streamline releases to Production.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Support Incident and Defect management related to product delivery and installation.
Support the enforcement of standards for development, testing, ensures proper client signoffs, production moves and documentation as outline in the CM/RM Management Plan
Document and provide updated refresh steps for refreshing various test environments, verify environments are live and ready after a refresh.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
At least 5 years experience in release management, configuration management, and demonstrate proficiency with release management methodology, processes, tools and deliverables.
Experience in release management for complex multi-vendor solutions that use both waterfall and agile methodologies(preferred)
Demonstrated ability to support and delivery Configuration and Release Management processes.
Strong communication and documentation skills including ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, subcontractors and clients.
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and track work to completion.
Schedule flexibility, particularly during intensive stages of releases.
Desired Healthcare experience but not mandatory
Desired: knowledge of but not mandatory
Strong knowledge of Windows, Unix and multi-server environments.
Experience with one or more scripting languages
Experience in automating software configuration and deployments
