The Digital Experience Specialist is responsible for implementing digital marketing initiatives and communications (mainly on platforms outside of our corporate sites) that deliver meaningful end user experiences and ultimately create sales growth and brand value. With an emphasis on leveraging social media and search engine marketing, this individual will oversee execution and optimization of programs to drive brand awareness, preference and demand.
This position resides in Enterprise Marketing, yet will work closely with central and business unit Marketing teams and outside vendors. The person will guide participants on integration and best practices and work with all to ensure a consistent brand voice and experience. A successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of online strategies and platforms; including SEO/SEM, social media, email and mobile. Exceptional communication and project management skills, as well as a desire to keep up with the fast-paced digital world are necessary. As measurement is as important as execution, to excel in this role you will also need to be passionate about data, analytics and testing.
Play an integral role in developing and maintaining digital marketing programs, with direct involvement in researching and executing strategies to support business objectives and branding efforts.
Implement innovative and effective strategies to create, manage and leverage our digital presence and assets; ie search engines, social media, email, content, etc…
Lead efforts to build online communities, capture and engage target audiences, coordinate campaigns and optimize programs to influence brand preference and drive traffic to brand sites.
Manage day-to-day maintenance and execution of enterprise marketing plans; requires developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive effectiveness.
Monitor benchmarks for measuring the impact of programs, and measure, analyze, and report on effectiveness of initiatives to maximize results.
Actively research and recommend new technologies and best practices in digital media. Present new ideas and opportunities to leverage our assets and drive continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in digital marketing, usability, web development or related field
5+ years of relevant work experience; strong digital knowledge and proven track record in executing digital marketing strategies and solutions in medium to large business.
High degree of passion for customer focus; experience using voice or customer, applying best practices and utilizing analytics to drive usability and optimization
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet timelines and budget
Solid working knowledge of search engines, social networks, digital analytics
Strong analytical ability and natural curiosity
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
