Job Description


The Power Electronics Summer Intern at MILLER Electric is designed to give a student the hands-on exposure to day-to-day operations and assist with projects and research that bring in cost savings or revenue opportunity for Miller Electric Mfg. Company.


  • Begin to focus on specific engineering disciplines (e.g. power, control, communication, packaging, magnetics, thermal)

  • Learn basic problem solving skills

  • Begin understanding of standards, procedures and practices

Job Requirements


  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and technical knowledge

  • Classroom experience with power electronics and microprocessors

  • In at least junior year of school

  • Self-directed, results-oriented and customer focused

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to be proactive in recognizing improvement opportunities
