Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Project Administrator to provide onsite administrative support for a large production operations project.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As the gatekeeper of project communications, you will be interacting frequently with members and executives, internally and externally. You will be responsible for various projecy assignments as required, including invoice review, the coordination of new staff on-boarding, maintenance of distribution lists in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Google Docs, and will serve as the administrative point person for all team members. Other responsibilities will include tracking accounts payables, staff badge renewals and security paperwork, planning team events and ordering office supplies. The position will require some travel between client sites and CGI headquarters in Northern Virginia.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

For consideration, you must possess a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated success providing support to large Federal IT consulting projects and executive level staff. You should be a proven analytical thinker who can identify and weigh different options for solving problems and make independent decisions on how best to resolve administrative issues as they arise. You must demonstrate strong communication skills (especially using email) and organizational skills, and an ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Candidates must possess a high level of proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and be highly skilled in light SharePoint administration (uploading documents, managing libraries/lists).

All applicants must be US Citizens and eligible for a Secret level security clearance for consideration (an active secret clearance is preferred).

Minimum requirements:

-3+ years of demonstrated success provide support to large Federal IT consulting projects

-Proven analytical thinker, problem solver

-Strong communication skills

-High level of proficiency using MS Outlook, Word, Excel. Powerpoint, and Google Docs

-Skilled in light Sharepoint administration (uploading documents, managing sites/libraries)
