Sr. Logistics Coordinator

Reporting to the Logistics Services Coordinator (LSC) Supervisor or Manager, the Sr. Logistics Coordinator will provide guidance and leadership to LSCs assigned to the team. As a Sr. Logistics Coordinator, you will interact with Material Expediting Services Lead or Supervisor (1st Level), Warehouse Services Coordinator or Lead/Supervisor (1st Level) on a daily basis. You will also interact with Material Planning Services Lead or Supervisor (2nd level) during weekly joint staff meetings.

Some of the job responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Monitor, evaluate and report of performance metrics as determined by the SOP/SOWs

  • Suggest, try and evaluate transactional level process and procedural improvements to SOPs for current and SOWs for future consideration.

  • Ensure that the LCS team, PMO, and service providers are all communicating effectively as evaluated by the PMO customer.

  • Ensure that any compliance and regulatory issues are reported and adjudicated as the situation demands. 

  • Able to review and respond to more complex situations in the flow of goods and services to meet mission objectives as defined in the SOWs.

  • Keep SOPs current, efficient and understood amongst the performance team. Analyze and develop plans and document processes for PMO/EL review.    


  • 3-7 years of experience in Logistics with a 2 or 3PL preferred or 3 years of Material Planning experience.

  • Intermediate level competency in computer and automated supply management desired.      

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Candidates must be detail oriented and organized;

  • Must be able to read and understand group or team contract SOW and SOP performance requirements and ensure accuracy and adherence to these plans.
