Job Description:

Performs two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs. Participates in CQI activities.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Associate of Science degree is preferred, but not required.

  • One year of Ultrasound experience.

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.

  • Registered within 2 years of graduation as set by the ACR standards.

  • Current BCLS certification.

  • Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
    Language Skills

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

  • Additional languages preferred. Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge.
