Responsibilities:

The QC/ ESH Administrative Assistant will be the Administrative Assistant for the QC/ESH Department in Iraq. This professional will report directly to the Country QC/ESH Manager. The QC/ ESH Administrative Assistant has the following primary responsibilities. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. DUTIES: - Generate professional reports to communicate Quality Control and ESH performance on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual frequency - Facilitates post ESH training in support of educating the public on Environmental, Safety and Health initiatives - Support office or administrative operations including: - maintaining records; receiving, preparing or verifying documents - searching for and compiling information and data - respond to routine requests for information - perform routine office support work using a desktop computer and Microsoft Office software - maintain a wide variety of financial or other records - verify statistical reports for accuracy and completeness - maintain formats approved by the QC/ESH Country Manager and prepare draft daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports - Collect and analyze performance data to determine impressionable trends - Maintain site document control - Submit the Quality Control and ESH Monthly Performance Report to higher echelon - May lead facility condition assessments and/or routine component ESH inspections - Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE: - 2 years combined administrative or office experience - 1 year tenure on a Department of State project of similar size and similar scope - Proficiency in Microsoft Office software to include Word, Power Point and Excel REQUIRED: - Education: A high school diploma or equivalent - Security Vetting: Must obtain a favorable MRPT certification as required by the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required security level for the duration of the contract - Language Skills: Strong professional English communication skills, both oral and written - Citizenship: US Citizenship is not required for this position - Medical: Favorable passage of a drug screen and physical examination DESIRED: - Experience working with PAE - Prior overseas experience is highly desirable OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting QC/ESH functions at an overseas facility - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards, contracts, governmental regulations or technical procedures - Commitment to maintaining a high performance team which delivers customer service excellence - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules - Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective - Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information - Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team - Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change PAE is an equal opportunity employer and drug free workplace.
