The Housekeeping Clerk performs custodial services in the Staff Diplomatic Apartments and surrounding grounds, including common areas, lobbies, corridors and stairways. Some of the main responsibilities include, but not limited to: - cleans floors, walls and windows; shampoos carpets as necessary; - performs dusting, sweeping, washing, vacuuming, stripping, waxing, polishing, replacing lights, trash collection and removal; - operates cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, waxers and polishers; - conducts daily cleaning of DV quarters, to include the above as well as cleaning kitchens and bathrooms and replenishing kitchen and bathroom supplies; - responsible for make-ready cleaning and inspections of vacant, TDY and transient quarters, including the removal abandoned personal affects and replacement of linens, and completion of inspection and inventory check-sheets


  • REQUIRED: - Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. - Security Vetting: Must possess an MRPT and remain eligible at the required security level for the duration of the contract - Language Skills: Strong professional English communication skills, both oral and written. - Citizenship: US Citizenship is not required for this position - Medical: Favorable passage of a drug screen and physical examination DESIRED: - Relevant overseas contract experience - Experience working with PAE OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Knowledge of all principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility - Experience providing excellent customer services - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules - Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel - Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team - Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change - Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information “PAE is an equal opportunity employer and drug- free workplace”
