The Operations Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of indirect labor for warehouse material handling and coordination of order picking activities. The Supervisor will also be responsible for safety program management, labor scheduling, attendance, productivity, and process improvement.

Manages the material handling operation team assuring orders are picked and shipped on time based on divisional and customer requirements in a high volume environment
Analyzes labor capacity required to cost effectively provide resources based on customer order volume and manage temporary labor
Implements standard operating procedures (SOP) for the picking process to simplify operations focusing on cost reduction through process improvement and meeting customer requirements
Trains associates in warehouse procedures including WMS/ IT systems, safety procedures, and material handling equipment
Develops and ensures that KPIs meet both DC objectives and customer requirements by measuring compliance to KPIs and implementing corrective actions to achieve required results
Publish and communicates KPI results to both associates and facility leadership
Identifies and improve warehouse distribution processes to support annual plan initiatives and customer requirements
Develops talent to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness and measures against performance management objectives

Bachelor degree required
3+ years of relevant supervisory warehouse experience
Experience in OSHA training requirements and quality by reporting incidents, errors and corrective actions.
Experience using word processing, spreadsheet software, inventory software
Order processing systems and database software; MS Dynamics, Navision and Epicor preferred
Disciplined self-starter with strong organizational skills
Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
