Job DescriptionWe have an immediate opening for an HR Generalist opportunity with one of our key clients located in Bellingham, WA. The Human Resources Generalist partners with managers and their teams to communicate and implement Human Resources programs, policies, practices and processes. This position assists in the implementation of HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives in such areas as recruiting, corporate directives, employee relations and outside temp houses. The key responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to: - Advise and consult with management/employees on HR policies, procedures, issues, and make appropriate recommendation. - Act as a resource to employees and managers on Employee Relations issues and partner with them to implement solutions. - Plan, coordinate and conduct employee interviews and communicate results to HR and department management. - Handles all aspects of the recruitment and selection process. - Assist in reporting for site and corporate reports. - Assist in wage and benefit compensation, surveys, and grade level evaluations.- Assist in EEO/ AAP administration.- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. - Assist with maintaining HRIS records- Other duties as assigned.RequirementsQualified candidates must have:- BA in Human Resources Management or applicable degree preferred or minimum 3-5-years of experience in Human Resources field required. - PHR or SPHR, preferred. - Previous experience with EEO/ AAP preferred. - General HR knowledge and ability to apply HR standards, procedures and techniques. - Solid knowledge and ability to support benefits, compensation, affirmative action program, employee practices and employee relations. - Uses general knowledge to support HRIS, organization development and staffing. - General knowledge of HR information systems (e.g., self-service systems, automated request tools) - General knowledge of company HR policies and procedures and how they relate to local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations. - Comfortable working with all levels of an organization Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
