Your tasks and responsibilities

Job Description:

More specifically related to this role, the incumbent will have responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

• Represents Supplier Quality in interactions with Quality • Assurance, Quality Control, Technical Operations, Supply Chain, Bayer partners, and regulatory agency inspectors. • Performs audits as needed with 30-50% domestic/international travel anticipated • Performs supplier assessments and coordinates maintenance of supplier files • Supports Quality Assurance Agreement program and Supplier Scorecard Program • Manages non-routine projects of moderate to high complexity • Provides effective leadership in training and developing internal customers/stakeholders and supports workforce diversity, quality and safety. • Writes and revises SOPs and works on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position: • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/ technical field. Advanced degree is preferred. • A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in Manufacturing and/or Quality in a GMP-regulated industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum 6 years of overall experience in the biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device or related industry, along with sound knowledge and understanding of cGMP concepts, and applicable US and foreign regulations. • Must be able to lead audits and provide guidance based on the applicability of the regulations to the subject matter being audited. • Must be able to review and discuss governing regulations, precedent interpretations, and current regulatory trends. • Proven ability as a team player and leader. • Excellent interpersonal skills • Must be able to listen and understand the opinions and perspectives of others while influencing without authority with internal and external customers/stakeholders regarding possible recommendations. • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams. • The ability to independently recognize opportunities and the need for business and process improvements. • The ability to multitask and support changing priorities • Strong written and oral communication skills, good presentation and influencing skills • Ability to assess, investigate and resolve deviations. • Strong ability to plan and prioritize complex and conflicting objectives to meet release goals and manage multiple priorities • In depth knowledge of GMP
