Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Cognitive Rehabilitation Specialist in Berwyn, Pennsylvania

Job Summary:

Devereux PA Adult Services provides care and residential living to nearly 400 adults with intellectual and developmental challenges in homes, apartments and a long-term care community in southeastern Pennsylvania. (Chester, Montgomery & Delaware Counties)

Our dedicated team of 600 staff, ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community.

We are currently seeking to hire a Full Time Cognitive Rehabilitation Specialist to provide clinical supports to adult individuals.

The Cognitive Rehabilitation Specialist (CRS) will provide cognitive rehabilitation services.

These services will include assessing the individual’s needs in order to develop cognitive remediation plans which include specific goals and measureable objectives.

The CRS will provide direct, consultative, and supportive cognitive remediation treatment for identified persons.

The CRS will train staff to implement cognitive rehabilitation strategies in order to enhance the person’s potential for learning and will document

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Education or related field. Master's degree preferred. Certification as a Brain Injury Specialist by the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists or by the Society for Cognitive Rehabilitation in Brain Injury.

Must have strong behavioral analytic skills and at least one (1) year experience working with adults with brain injury or intellectual disabilities. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must have valid PA driver's license and be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle. Should have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Proficient computers skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications
