Front Office Manager
The Cendyn Hospitality Marketing Cloud™ is an integrated technology platform for driving sales and marketing performance. We are looking for a current or former Hotel Front Office Manager who is tired of working weekends and being responsible for a 24/7 operation. We want a Hotel Savvy individual to help with our Hotel Data Testing. This position will report to Vice President of Operations but will work with all CRM product teams.
• Review client PMS reports and compare to Cendyn product reports • Understand reasons for variances and guide internal teams on variance resolution • Guide internal teams on proper hotel processes • Converse with hotel clients in all areas of front office data
The ideal candidate should also possess the following skills:
• Able to work both efficiently and proactively to meet critical deadlines • Able to multi-task and handle several tasks at any one given time • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and well organized • Knowledge of top hotel PMS, POS and Ancillary Software • Proficient with Windows as well as Internet related applications and services including, but not limited to, FTP clients and web browsers. Must also be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, etc.) • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills • Able to type 40 – 60+ WPM
Education and/or Experience: Previous experience in the hotel industry, preferably Front Office or Accounting.
Language/Communication Skills: Ability to read, write and analyze reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals is absolutely critical. Candidate must also be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and clients in a clear and concise method.
Reasoning Ability: Troubleshoot practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, a candidate should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software and Word Processing software.
