Job Summary * Serve as point of contact for employers to assist in referral coordination for work comp patients and return to work status.
Assist employer contacts to set up injury care protocols, understand panel preferences, and identify opportunities to connect to system.
Issue resolution and address any barriers in timely delivery of treatment services or return to work information.
Build relationships with employers, contact, and affiliated physician practices accepting workers comp patients.
Work with Program coordinators and Directors to ensure workplace partners goals are met and contribute to expansion of business at existing and new client accounts.
Attend workers comp seminars, association meetings, conferences, and site visits.
Knowledge and understanding of working with other departments, vendors/partners and tools.
Serves on services team in delivering biometric screenings and services including scheduling process, confirmation process, inventory, ordering, and patient referrals.
Perform research as needed to understand current market trends in safety and workers comp and health promotion.
Design, coordinate, and attend, as needed, clients’ onsite wellness events including onsite seminars, presentations, screenings, fairs, etc.
Be available early morning and late evening for client and member events.
Perform other duties as assigned Perform all tasks in accordance with HIPAA/PHI guidelines.
Education * College degree preferred

Must have excellent communication skills; strong customer service skills; the ability to work independently, prioritize and problems solve effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; the ability to work well under pressure; and excellent organizational skills. Must have a professional appearance and demeanor and must be available for a varied work schedule. A strong knowledge of workers compensation and employer interaction preferred.
Computer literacy sufficient to navigate Meditech, HPF, and DSS reports
Ability to communicate in a professional manner in all types of situations and continually maintain a high level of customer service. Special requirements:
Must be able to travel using his/ her vehicle
Direct experience in workers comp industry or healthcare field in customer service.
One to two years’ experience in a medical setting preferred.
