EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Bachelors - Business Administration

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: Required: Driver's License - NC DRIVER'S LICENSE Additional information on required licensure/certification/registry/listings: If driving a Cone Health vehicle, must have five (5) years of driving experience and MVR must be approved by Risk Management. Preferred: Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Materials Resource Planner (CMRP) certification.


EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum of five (5) years experience in Healthcare Materials Management. Preferred: Materials Management experience in the OR.

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Facilitates the delivery of quality patient care through the coordination and monitoring of non-clinical operations and support of all areas of Operative Services.

MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES: Manages and directs all aspects of OR inventory, system-wide 30 % Supports and assists department leadership, system-wide, for Operative Services in the budget process. 15 % Coordinates annual capital equipment purchases along with identifying and removing excess and obsolete capital equipment with leadership. 30 % Facilitates and negotiates contracts with vendors and respective departments 25 %
