The Regional Sales Representative (RSR) will achieve individual sales goals through a relational selling model to include all active and developmental T.O. Plastics (T.O. PLASTICS) product offerings. The territory for this position will be the west coast.
The RSR thoroughly understands customer needs, develops relationships with customers and provides a well-rounded solution to the customer. Proactively originates new customer relationships through networking, referrals and face-to-face meetings. Supports existing customer needs throughout relationship and offers a single point of contact for much of their ongoing needs.
The RSR’s primary function is outside sales, i.e., sales made on-site at the customer’s business in the RSR’s designated market. The RSR is required to spend over 50% of their time each workweek outside of office at customer locations generating new sustainable sales and maintaining existing sales. Spend at least 80% of their time in duties related to their own outside sales efforts. Independently set their own work hours. This role will strive for 100% “Very Satisfied” customers with growth measured by customer retention/net sales and profitability.
Educational and/or Experience Requirements:
Previous experience in consultative selling within a relational sales environment.
Previous experience selling for a direct manufacturer with an emphasis on “custom” product development and sales.
Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred.
5 or more years of successful sales experience required.

Work Conditions/Travel Expectations:
- Extensive travel (air and driving) is required for this position. Valid driver’s license is required.
