The Director, Patient and Provider Services is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and tactics that support Sanofi/Genzyme's Immunology Patient and Provider Services program. These strategies and tactics align with the overall commercial objectives of the Sanofi/Genzyme Immunology franchise.
Sanofi/Genzyme's Immunology Support program offering is a comprehensive set of services that support Immunology patients, their caregivers, and healthcare providers. The Support program nurse network provides product and adherence support to patients. The Support program operations team provides support for patients to access therapy. Support program services are provided by a contracted business partner that is managed by Sanofi/Genzyme.
The Director will be responsible for and in partnership with Regeneron our alliance partner:
Working with cross-functional colleagues, including the brand teams and the portfolio teams, to ensure alignment with commercial strategy/objectives and to develop new programs that optimize the Support program service offering
Developing and executing Support program communication plans—ensuring clear communication between Sanofi/Genzyme and the Support program programs
Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to optimize the promotion of the Support program service program
Overseeing the training of:
o Support program teams, with a specific focus on training the Support program nurses, from onboarding through ongoing development
o Sanofi/Sanofi/Genzyme commercial teams to ensure optimal communication and pull-through of services in the field
Identifying and implementing new nurse programs and services to meet Sanofi/Genzyme's commercial objectives, including development of patient support and adherence programs
Monitoring and measuring customer feedback, internal performance data, and market needs to identify and implement service enhancements
Overseeing and building the service model to support the upcoming launch of a new product with REMS including overseeing key digital aspects of the program
The ideal candidate should have outstanding interpersonal skills, including building strong working relationships, and managing and resolving conflict. Have strong analytic skills to evaluate trends and identify opportunities for program improvements. Demonstrates initiative, teamwork and accountability. Superb communication skills; oral and written, including presentation skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to change and react constructively in a high-energy and fast paced environment. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
This position is based in Cambridge, MA.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
5-7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
5-7 yrs previous experience in a patient services and/or marketing function in a specialty market
Ability to travel up to 30% of time
RA experience a plus
Experience with customer relationship marketing programs
