Job Description SummarySupport the design and execution of a governance and quality assurance framework for procurement and vendor management functions. Conduct vendor due diligence, annual audits/reviews, execution of relationship management (e.g. scorecards, performance oversight), governance and related activities to manage the vendor relationship.Job Description
Conduct and manage annual third party contract risk and compliance reviews based on Transamerica's Outsourcing and Suppler Risk policy (OSRP).
Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert for Distribution and Third Party Operations team during the risk assessment process.
Manage processes to ensure ongoing third party compliance to the business agreement, policies, procedures and regulations; map controls and compliance requirements.
Review third party policies, procedures and controls (including SOC reports). Coordinate with business process owners to ensure controls are in place and being followed by the third party.
Assist with assessment reports and executive summaries with recommendations and direction regarding remediation efforts and disposition of third party.
Communicate, escalate and track supplier progress on assessment remediation activities.
Maintain current knowledge on information security topics and their application to identified business requirements.
Engage appropriate business owners regarding delays/deviations during remediation.
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
Two years of audit/risk experience.
Communication and presentation skills to provide information and direction, document assessment work papers, and prepare assessment reports.
Financial/quantitative skills and analysis capabilities.
Attention to detail for conducting assessments.
Understanding of functional and technical aspects of application provided by supplier.
Able to collaborate effectively with groups and senior management.
Advanced proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of supplier management software applications (e.g. Ariba, Zycus, SAP)
