As part of Microsoft?s Partner and Industry Organization, the East Region Partner Team Unit (PTU) is responsible for driving the sales integration of Microsoft partner solutions. Our partner?s solutions are vitally important to Microsoft to maximize new revenue growth, drive consumption/usage, and in general glue together our platforms to form business solutions to delight our customers. The Partner Sales Director will lead a team of 6, placed in each of 5 districts that make up East Region EPG. This lead will own the responsibility for sales management and execution of the PSE and is challenged with taking this partner sales business to new heights within the district sales value chain. Responsibilities Include: Driving Net New Revenue Growth and Consumption: Responsible for achieving/exceeding all revenue attainment/consumption to quota and commitment based accountabilities for the East Region. Driving business discipline through consistent sales pipeline hygiene management in conjunction with the ATU, STU, Services, Industry and other virtual team members. Build net new pipeline targeted at key scorecard growth areas through targeted partner plays within each territory/district Sales Execution Excellence: Developing a world-class sales culture through highly effective sales management including: Disciplined Business Management: Responsible for implementing a monthly District Business Management Framework that provides a consistent and predictable Rhythm of the Business (ROB). Sales Readiness: Accountable for developing a Sales Readiness Plan and ensuring that it is executed for each individual on the team. Rewards and Recognition: Implements effective use of sales rewards and recognition programs across the team and the district. Partner Satisfaction Management: Delivery of partner satisfaction management through PSEs Engaging a set of active joint selling partners relevant to customers within the region by solution area and execution on targeted GTM sales campaigns Internal Selling: Evangelize the partners? solutions to the geography?s sales and consulting teams, clearly articulating the partner?s value propositions to the Microsoft teams to foster proactive engagement Executing the Satisfaction Survey process with applicable partners. People Leadership, Development and Satisfaction: Executive presence and proper organizational altitude/agility will be critically important in collaborating with district STU Directors, DGMS, and RVP. The desire, ability, and experience in growing highly motivated and satisfied employees with responsibility for achieving/exceeding employee satisfaction goals for their sales team. Provide training, coaching and a motivating environment for PSEs and other portions of the Partner and Industry that integrate into each district?s selling motion. Additional skills required include: excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple high-priority activities, strong planning expertise, and making the appropriate judgment calls to succeed. Qualifications should include a minimum of 10+ total years? experience in information technology industry including successful and proven performance in solution sales, partner sales and marketing positions. A BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent experience preferred; an MBA a plus. Prior management experience vital for this leadership role.
