PNA Construction Technologies, an ITW business, is seeking a manufacturing Inventory Planner/Scheduler to plan production, manage product inventory fulfillment and targets, communicate shipping and inventory availability information to internal partners, and manage purchasing and supply chain strategies common across the businesses.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate production planning and inventory levels based on market

  • Work with operations management to standardize inventory target settings and adjustments

  • Assist in developing inventory (raw material/finished products) and setting strategies to continuously improve and reduce month on hand measurements

  • Work with suppliers to determine capacity required to fulfill inventory targets

  • Analyze inventories working with the manufacturing facilities to determine how to reduce waste or optimize customer service

  • Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, and production

  • Determine and communicate product delivery dates in collaboration with the plants, customer service and the sales teams

  • Ensure on-time raw material availability based on the market

  • Maintain market demand history and the business operating system data

  • Control and verify accuracy of inventory by performing monthly inventory cycle counting

  • Adjust raw materials and finish good inventory as necessary

  • Assist with timely disposition of non-conforming materials, slow moving inventory, and/or invoicing discrepancies

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or related degree

  • 3 years minimum related work experience

  • American Purchasing Society certification preferred

  • Experience working with a high-volume manufacturing operation

  • Knowledge of Operations/Business Systems software

  • Ability to analyze data to support business requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with demand management/replenishment principles and tools

  • Up to 20% travel
