Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor Assistant You can make a real difference in the life of an at-risk youth when you join the dedicated team at Green Hill School. We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to serve as Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor Assistants in Chehalis, Washington.

You'll have an opportunity to assist Juvenile Rehabilitation Residential Counselors in providing comprehensive case management, transition planning, and treatment services to youth and families within the JRA Integrated Treatment Model. You may manage a caseload of one to two youths under close supervision. You will provide supervision and services to youth who have a complex range of disorders and treatment needs and their families. You will serve as back-up for residential counselors and respond to emergent situations as well as assist residential counselors to assess youth behavior for risk to self and others and monitor youth compliance. This position also performs routine security duties, supervises and/or serves meals to resident groups, monitors movement of residents within the facility and in the community and organizes and supervises group recreational activities

Here's what we're looking for: Two years of college education and two years of experience in casework, counseling, probation, parole, social services, planning, directing or facilitating youth group activities or experience in a related field


Two years of college education and two years of experience as a Juvenile Rehabilitation Security Officer


A Bachelor's degree

Please note: An education degree must be from an accredited institution whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or a foreign equivalent. A degree in Social Work must be from an educational program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

This position performs activities that meet the definition of counseling in WAC 246-810-010 (7). As a condition of continued employment, the incumbent must possess and maintain a current Agency Affiliated Counselor (AACC) or higher counseling-related credential from the Washington State Department of Health.
