QuadMed is recruiting a Physical Therapist to provide occupational physical therapy services at our onsite health center located in Clyde, OH. The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday.
QuadMed provides workplace solutions on a national level to employers of all sizes. Our clinics provide medical, laboratory, and physical therapy services for collaboration of care as well as to reduce cost of healthcare to patients.
Our Physical Therapists work one-on-one with patients in an outpatient orthopedic clinical setting. In this position, the Physical Therapist will be responsible for examining and evaluating individuals with work-related risk factor(s), impairments or activity limitations preventing the employee from performing their essential work requirements. The role of the physical therapist is to develop a plan of care, and perform appropriate treatments keeping in mind job duties and evidence-based practice
Participation in care team to determine appropriateness for return to work, work restrictions, and progress towards goals.
Design of a safe, specific, progressive physical therapy program to recondition an injured worker within the employee’s functional and medical limitations. This will require a knowledge of various job tasks and physical demands required to safely perform job tasks.
Educate employees about safe work practices.
Performing Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs).
Maintain a working knowledge of Workers’ Compensation laws in the state of Ohio.
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university or college.
- Three to five years of experience in an occupational health setting preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current Ohio state licensure.
Certification in performing FCEs is preferred
Intermediate computer skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Evidence of organizational skills, appropriate decision-making and problem solving skills
