Job Summary

Safely and efficiently produce high quality cider through the use of processes and methods established. Works with minimal supervision and have the ability to solve problems with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment. This position is subject to change in working hours to include, Day shift, Swing shift, or Night shift to support a 24/7 operation.

Building Beverage Blends.

· Transfers liquid from one vessel to another using manual and automated means. Handles raw materials, adds raw materials to vessel and connects pumping equipment to move material/product to other vessels as depicted by recipe cards and/or other means.

· Supporting new product innovation to develop ciders, sample new materials and new production techniques. Setting up Fermentations. Extract samples at various stages and completes quality checks. Makes adjustments to batches to obtain specified targets.

· Maintains accurate production and quality records. Understands and follows quality assurance standards to ensure only the highest quality products leave the facility.

Routine Maintenance and trouble shooting equipment

Maintain and repair cellar equipment, as needed

Ordering Ingredients from warehouse

Requisition raw material from warehouse. Coordinate delivery of raw materials and supplies

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Prefer prior experience in a beverage production environment.

Must be able to demonstrate a mechanical aptitude including performing routine maintenance of equipment, reading of gauges and other measuring equipment.

Basic understanding of windows-based computer skills.

Position is physically demanding and labor-intensive, requiring lifting of up to 50 pounds. Climb ladders. Must comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies, laws and regulations. Must be literate (read and write) in the English language and at least 21 years of age.
