*Job Overview: *As the Compensation & Benefits Coordinator you will provide administrative support for the Compensation & Benefits department by preparing and maintaining employee records, maintaining the HRIS, responding to internal and external requests for employee information, and providing various reports.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • ­Prepares and maintains employee folders, files appropriate documents
  • Maintains and inputs personnel information the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
  • Requests periodic standard and special reports utilizing the HRIS’s report generation function
  • Presents at new employee orientation
  • Provides employment and salary verification information to external contacts
  • Responds to subpoenas for employee files
  • Assists in the preparation and the dissemination of employee-related communications packages, including benefits orientation and open enrollment
  • Performs periodic audits

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the use of computer hardware and software (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Mathematical ability equivalent to two years high school algebra
  • Data entry skills
  • Discretion in handling confidential/personal data
  • Type 45 wpm
  • Ability to think in a logical manner and solve problems
  • Strong organizational skills with detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize work effectively to meet demanding time constraints
Required Experience

Experience Required:

  • Associates degree in a related field
  • 1 – 2 years general office experience, confidential document handling preferred
  • Working knowledge of FOF mission, philosophies, values and objectives* *
