If you are a current sophomore or junior attending a 4 year undergraduate program and seeking to gain experience in your field, then apply for our internship program! Focus on the Family has several summer internship positions to choose from, including Boundless (online blog), Children’s Magazines (editing/writing), Market Research, Parenting & Youth Ministry, Human Resources, Audio Drama, Marketing Strategy, Audio Broadcast, Social Media Strategy, Hospitality, Counseling, Master Writers and many more.

Interns at Focus on the Family are unpaid, but provided weekday breakfast and lunch, housing with a volunteer, and planned weekend activities.

Applications will only be received until** January 13, 2017 or until the position is filled, whichever comes first. Internship begins Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

New in 2017 – International Trip**

Interns will also have the opportunity to spend two weeks at one of our international offices learning how their office functions and volunteering for their programs. Students will be required to raise their own funds for the trip, but Focus will provide resources for fundraising. Locations for 2017 are tentatively New Zealand and South Africa. More details will be provided during the interview.**


  • Must be a sophomore or junior enrolled in an undergraduate program.
  • Must be available to start on May 30, 2017 and intern through August 4, 2017
  • Must provide your own transportation to Colorado Springs as well as to and from work daily
  • Contribute to the overall goals of Focus on the Family
  • Provide your own meals for evenings and weekends
Required Skills
