Job Description

The Production Processor position exists to perform routine duties in any combination in one or more of the listed areas to provide distribution services, which are timely, accurate, affordable, and result in customer satisfaction; follows prescribed routines in accomplishing tasks with supervision or assistance always available.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Individual Responsibilities: Mail:

  1. Sorts mail by zip code, prepares bundles, bags, ties, labels, and prepares bags for shipping
  2. Operates Pallet Wrapping Machine and meter machine
  3. Assembles projects by hand
  4. Assists in stocking and staging jobs at machines


  1. Match mailings
  2. Hand addressing
  3. Assembly of projects
  4. Padding
  5. Operator shrink-wrap machine


  1. Packs orders in various packages
  2. Generates labels through computerized shipping system
  3. Operates package machines; prepares and ships pallet and foreign orders
  4. Moves product and mail from building to building
  5. Prepares and ships expedited and special orders

Global Shipping:

  1. Packs international orders in various packages
  2. Generates labels through computerized shipping system
  3. Prepares and ships international pallet orders
  4. Inventories international orders received from the warehouse


  1. Operates Warehouse equipment including standard sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, narrow aisle order pickers and swing-reach trucks, pallet wrappers, and weight-count scales
  2. Retrieves product for delivery and staging in various areas
  3. Receives new product into the warehouse
  4. Records product movement in inventory system
  5. Makes inquiries in inventory/accounting system

Team Responsibilities:

  1. Develops ideas and suggestions toward continuous process improvement; takes personal responsibility for quality of the team's results
  2. Takes personal responsibility for housekeeping and safety within the team's work area
  3. Contributes toward meeting predetermined performance objectives
  4. Remains flexible and willing to work anywhere and with any team member when there is a need
  5. Remains dependable and punctual; maintains a good attendance record

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Performs other duties as assigned

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:

  1. Must be able to pass a Post Offer Prehire Physical exam
  2. Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle
  3. Noise from various mail/material-handling machines
  4. Fumes from forklift exhaust
  5. Dust associated with mail and packing materials
  6. Lifting and carrying of material up to 60 pounds
  7. Must be able to push/pull 50lbs
  8. Must be able to stand 6 hours/day and stand 2 hours/day
  9. Must be able to bend, crouch, squat, crawl, kneel, balance, and reach above head
  10. Requires repetitive tasks/motions, good eye-hand-foot coordination, and good manual dexterity
  11. Must be able to hear alarms/phone/tape recorder/normal speaking voice

Required Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 0 – 6 months experience in material handling or in simple machine operation

There is no relocation offered for this position. Local candidates will be considered first.
