Position Description:

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence at CGI Federal! CGI is seeking a Data Migration Scrum Master to support our DOJ Customer in Crystal City, VA. Due to the nature of the gov't contract, US Citizenship is required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design, plan, and manage the data migration process to move legacy data into a modernized and consolidated data platform.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• At least 10 years of IT related experience

• 8 years working with databases with demonstrated expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 11, ETL tools, Data conversion, Data De-duplication, Data Cleansing methodologies

• Ability to adopt, recommend and promote standards regarding the use of ETL tools

• Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities.

• Be able to build data queries and complex scripts in PL/SQL and data mapping in SAP Data Services.

• Effective at understanding a problem and developing one or many approaches to solving the problem.

• Recent experience installing and configuring SAP Data Services and/or SAP Data Integrator

• Experience in Data Migration methodologies

• Ability to work harmoniously in a cross-functional team comprising managers, supervisors, business analysts, systems personnel and other developers in ensuring the delivery of solutions as planned, within set budget and schedule

• Strong knowledge of systems and software development lifecycles; application integration techniques; and relational database design

• Sound knowledge of traditional as well as agile software development methodologies

• Proficient knowledge in Scrum methodology of agile software development with demonstrated team leadership and communication skills
