The Medical Assistant II, under general supervision, performs laboratory functions and prepares patients for examinations and procedures. The Medical Assistant II also may operate x-ray equipment to make routine radiographs of designated body regions ordered by Physician and/or assist the Physician with various procedures.

Ideal HTPN Medical Assistant candidates are punctual, dependable, flexible, detail oriented, can communicate effectively with patients, staff and physicians, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience required.

  • CMA certification is preferred.
