Entegee is seeking an ADMS/SCADA Integration Engineer for a 6-12 month W2 contract to be located in Denver!

Overview: This role will be responsible for aligning the overall implementing ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System)/SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) design with evolving Grid Modernization business requirements across all four Operating Companies as Grid Modernization is built out at our Public Utility client.

Responsibilities: This role will continue to modify ADMS/SCADA configurations and add devices and device types to ADMS/SCADA with the continued evolution of Grid Modernization. The ADMS/SCADA software is a maturing technology. This role will work with the ADMS/SCADA vendor as well as other Schneider ADMS users to develop the ADMS/SCADA product to continue to evolve to meet Grid Modernization needs.

Essential Responsibilities: a) Develops and maintains ADMS/SCADA configurations for Xcel Energy to be used across all Xcel Energy operating companies. This includes real-time database configurations and SCADA system configuration (For example: RTU [Remote Terminal Unit], Point, supervisory control, area of responsibility, alarming, tagging, historical configuration tables). 25%

b) Maintains configuration databases for all ADMS/SCADA real-time database configuration tables. Provides work direction to ADMS/SCADA database support analysts. 25%

c) Creates, develops and maintains tools and reports that are used for real-time database configuration management. 25%

d) Coordinates with ADMS real-time advanced application configuration management. Ensures applications, users and downstream applications have appropriate, high quality real-time SCADA data. Provides an end-to–end view of the real-time SCADA application as well as cross Xcel operating company perspective. 25%


• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

• 3-5 years relevant SCADA or real-time application support experience( Experience may be considered in lieu of education).

Technical skills with regard to the following technologies:

• Must possess strong analytical skills to determine information management needs through job experience in the electric utility industry.

• SCADA, relational databases, Schneider OASyS SCADA, Schneider ADMS, ADMS applications, scripting languages, Windows Server.

• Must have ability to work independently with minimal direction on a daily basis.

• Must possess strong analytical skills to determine information management needs through job experience in the electric utility industry.
