Work Order Scheduler, Sr.

This position is located in Centennial, Colorado.

SUMMARY: Manages maintenance, asset data, and training of Maximo users in all aspects of maintenance through Maximo.

GENERAL DUTIES (not all inclusive):

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace program and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the work place.

  • Works with foremen, trades and all Maximo users to research maintenance data to ensure accuracy.

  • Updates Asset table data as needed and ensures accuracy.

  • Provides backup requirements in some Maximo areas as needed for Work Order Scheduler Supervisor.

  • Ensures work order schedulers communicate and cross train regarding all aspects of Maximo.

  • Ensures work order scheduler position documentation/SOPs are current.

  • Generates all work orders. Ensures accurate data is entered within the computerized maintenance management software (MAXIMO).

  • Ensures Preventive Maintenance work orders are accurate and timely.

  • Updates maintenance-related data as required, i.e., assets, job plans, etc.

  • Ensures work order closing process is complete.

  • Supports work order requirements for configuration change requests.

  • Supports Service Requests and emergency work order process as needed.

  • Trains personnel in Maximo processes as needed.

  • Apprises Supervisor on status of maintenance activities.

  • Generates reports as needed under supervision of Work Order Lead.

  • Handles confidential matters (personnel actions, management reports, etc.) in accordance with management policy.

  • Interacts with the National Science Foundation, military and other agency officials, both over the telephone and in person, in a professional and tactful manner.

  • Performs other duties as required. REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.

  • At least 8 months’ experience in Maintenance work areas using a CMMIS (computerized maintenance management information system, i.e., Maximo) database.

  • Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative environment is required.

  • Must be detail oriented.

  • Experience utilizing a maintenance planning and control software program is preferred.

  • Must be willing and able to lift and move items, parts, assemblies and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum.

  • US citizenship or US Permanent Resident status is required.
