Job Description: Responsibilities for Intermediate Web Developer

Codes, test, implement and documents technical solutions according to the business need utilizing web and related technologies.

  • Analyzes system and program requirements. Solves problems with systems and programs.

  • Develops specifications for new and existing systems.

  • Provides direction on specific projects and meets deadlines.

  • Provides estimates on individual tasks.

  • Coordinates with co-workers, clients, technical support, and vendors.

  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of software development.

  • Participates in discussions to come up with team standards for quality processes and methods.

  • May assist in mentoring junior members of the team.

  • Other duties as assigned based on divisional needs.

  • Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.

Qualifications for Intermediate Web Developer

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technically related field, or equivalent education/experience. Minimum of 3 years work experience. Masters degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical field is acceptable in lieu of work experience.

1-3 years of experience in Salesforce CRM Implementations is preferred.

  • .Net Development Skills C#, MVC

  • Core Web Technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and XML

  • JavaScript and one or more leading RIA framework such as Jquery

  • SQL Server 2008 and/or 2012 or higher

  • Mobile App Development and Mobile Web Experience, jQuery mobile and Bootstrap is a plus

  • Content Management System Experience – Orchard is a plus

  • Salesforce development experience with Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Schedule Classes, Visualforce pages and integrating with external source by developing SOAP, RESTful Apex Web Services and Force.com API.

  • Knowledge of salesforce.com administrative activities: Creating Profiles, Roles, User, Permission Sets, Record Types, PageLayout assignment, Search Layouts, Field-Level Security, Custom Tabs, Validation rules, Formula Fields, Email Services, Workflows, Approval Process, Reports and Dashboards.

  • Content Management System Experience – Orchard is a plus

  • Ability to work in an agile environment.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently manage multiple projects adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.

  • Willing to maintain and improve existing applications.

  • Clear, concise and effective communication skills, orally and written.

  • Is accountable and responsible.

  • Is a good team player.

  • Must embrace and promote teamwork, including with team members across multiple locations and time zones.

  • Strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail.

  • Must place a high value on developing high quality products.

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal direct supervision.
