CGI is looking to add a Tester to its growing team in Durham, NC. This is a full-time opportunity with CGI, and all benefits start on your first day of employment!
Must understand GIT and how to use it (or be trainable with a version control software)
Must understand Linux.
Must have logical troubleshooting skills, to be able to read instructions on how to test a feature, and be able to follow and give good feedback if it doesnt work.
Must be able to communicate clearly, fluent English to any developer that built the features they are testing.
Looking for outgoing personality
Must be able to quickly learn new software, and be communicable with the user community to learn how to use the software like the business.
May be required to write documentation and user guides for the software they are testing.
Proficient in manual testing including ad hoc testing, smoke testing and black-box testing with Agile methodology.
Experience in writing and executing automated testing scripts
Expertise in Automation testing tools
Experienced in reading Requirements Document, Use cases, Story board, writing test cases, software testing, documenting defects, tracking bugs, and analyzing the results
Experienced writing SQL queries
Written and Executed test cases and test steps for functional and non-functional requirements.
Must be able to work independently
Performed Smoke, Functional, Component, Integration, and System testing.
Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
