Position Description:

The BE support member(s) will be accountable to supporting the the HCP BE Lead and various HCP Sectors with a wide range of BD/Capture/Proposal-related activities. These members will be utility players that will be expected to assist on multiple tasks and prioritize as appropriate. We are looking for motivated team players that have an interest in working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Support Capture Managers

o Research upcoming opportunities, including competitive research, teaming partner data calls/ research, historical spending patterns, etc

o Assist with preparation for Executive Step Reviews (research, preparing slide decks and talking points)

o Attending industry and teaming events

o Supporting capture manager with ad hoc tasks as requested (preparing data calls, tracking status of teaming arrangements, tracking task lists for account team, administrative tasks)

o Contributing to RFIs (writing, editing, research)

• Support Proposal Development

o Write/ edit technical volumes, staffing and management sections, past performance write ups, and resumes

o Draft storyboards for staffing/ management sections

o Participate in internal reviews and color team reviews

o Participate in Win Theme, Value Prop, and Black Hat sessions

• Special Projects, representative examples:

o Develop “Innovation Solution Snapshots” about emerging technologies

o Develop white paper briefings and powerpoint slides for solutioning sessions with account team, focusing on emerging technologies

o Assist with development of HCP Marketing and Communications framework and SWOT for Strategic Plan

o Attend relevant industry events and report back to team

o Attend FGM’s capture and proposal trainings

o Contribute to development of Center for Health Innovation – marketing and content strategy, editorial calendar, content development, content management

o Interview all CMS Account team leads and gather actionable intel to prepare for IDIQs and recompetes (developed questions and led interviews with account leads, organized and summarized key info for business development leads)

o Analyzed client interviews from 2014 and developed summary document that was used in strategic planning, distributed to account team leads, and referenced in client meetings

• Special Events, representative examples:

o Assist with planning and coordinating HCP Small Business Day – including writing invitations, editing company bios, and day of logistics

o Assist with prep for industry conferences and attend to represent CGI (AMSUS, HIMMS, university career fairs)

o Plan Young Professional Forum events, coordinate logistics, and evaluate with participants

o Present at Broaden Your Horizons day on behalf of Business Engineering

o Assist with executive and planning of HCP Town Hall meetings and messaging

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Minimum of 2 years experience working in the Federal space

General understanding of Government procurement process and proposal process

Excellent written/verbal communications skills
