Responsibilities: MSA I duties include but are not limited to: • Maintains a schedule of appointments for a manager or office • Monitors calendars, e-mail and telephones of manager(s) or office member • answers routine telephone calls, directs calls or takes messages •drafts, proofreads, edits routine correspondence • maintains tracking records and filing systems • serves as a recorder or back up for time and attendance accountings for the area of assignment • maintains and updates databases or spreadsheets • performs data entry, data collection and research, retrieves information or documents from databases and the Internet • serves as a focal point for response to queries regarding local in house and customer administrative databases • Assists with ordering of supplies and arranges for the repair of office equipment. • participates in meetings and events; may serve as a recorder or working member of group, and may brief or present admin support related information • prepares travel arrangements for unit managers and other • greets and/or escorts visitors and guests • opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail, newspapers, faxes, and other publications/documents • Performs back up duties for other offices within the directorate/offices • Implements new administrative support processes • Passes and receives clearances and prepares access lists • Assists in the ordering of supplies and arranges for the repair of office equipment • Establishes administrative contacts and professional relationships for networking and liaison • Ensures management, coworkers, customers and stakeholders are informed on pertinent matters • Responds on a daily basis to staff's needs and customers questions/inquiries

Qualifications: Must be a US citizen possessing TS/SCI at the time of application. Six months of prior administrative support or comparable experience, preferably in an office environment. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. • Ability to obtain basic knowledge of protocol and precedence, and customer structure, regulations, and policies • Basic knowledge of current practices associated with filing and tracking systems, allowing efficient and rapid storage and retrieval of information • Basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, the Internet and general office equipment • Basic interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities • Discretion, ability to maintain confidentiality, ability to communicate in a clear/concise manner orally in or writing • Ability to participate productively as a contributing member in a team environment • Ability to apply basis customer service skills sufficient to support customer relations and respond to customer's questions and/or concerns
