MISSISSIPPI NATIONAL GUARD
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED*:* This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
* MILITARY TECHNICIAN COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:* Prior to placement in this position, the selected applicant must be assigned to a compatible position as required by TPR 303. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is located in the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO) Comptroller Division, Accounting Services Branch. The primary purpose is to provide technical and administrative supervision in the Accounting Section that serves the ARNG military and Technician personnel.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training involving arithmetic principles, attention to detail, and application of established procedures for recording and compiling data. Experience using computer and automation systems.
Must possess and document in detail, at least 30 months of experience, education, or training of interpreting and applying a variety of accounting regulations and guidelines. Experience planning, organizing and coordinating work in order to resolve complex problems that occur. Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional or technical work that provided the opportunity to acquire knowledge of management principles, practices, methods and techniques. Experience must have been in one functional area of accounting which included making objective and logical determination of facts. Experience developing, coordinating and maintaining an integrated accounting system. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.

Permanent Change of Station Expenses: No PCS will be authorized.
