The Scott Presidential Chairs will be nationally andinternationally known scholars whose individual research programs span one ormore of our signature areas.Required Job QualificationsWe seek candidates with demonstrated leadership who will complement and buildupon our existing strengths as well as bring new dimensions to our researchportfolio. Successful candidates will have an outstanding scholarshiprecord; demonstrated, significant experience building, leading, andmanaging a large research enterprise; demonstrated ability to secure andsustain competitively funded research programs; a commitment to excellencein education; and a vision that will enhance the College's prominence onthe international stage. A doctoral degree in engineering, science, or arelated field is required.
