Position at Alpine

Alpine is seeking a Software Engineer responsible for developing and modifying software applications with guidance from the senior development team. This individual will also assist with design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of proprietary software programs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Development and debugging of code in accordance with software specifications

  • Modification of software applications to meet changing customer/industry needs and to provide for program enhancements

  • Documentation of software programs including writing/compiling documentation of program development and subsequent revisions

  • Testing/deployment of code

  • Examination and testing output data to ensure accuracy, completeness and reliability of code

  • Other duties assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or higher required; preferably Computer Science or Engineering related

  • 3+ years of experience

  • Proficiency with Web Application development using PHP in a WAMP environment

  • Knowledgeable in Laravel, JQuery, ExtJS, Tomcat, JBOSS, Glassfish, Eclipse and Visual Studio preferred

  • C# and .NET a plus

  • Familiarity with CAD environments a plus

  • Excellent problem solving with strong analytical skills

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in teams and independently
