The United States Attorney=s Office (USAO), Middle District of Florida (MDFL), is seeking experienced attorneys interested in trial work for the position of Assistant United States Attorney. The MDFL is headquartered in Tampa and has branch offices in Orlando, Jacksonville, Fort Myers and Ocala.

The MDFL is seeking to hire Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) to serve in our Criminal Division. The applicant selected will represent the U.S. Government as an AUSA on a wide range of unique and complex cases.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member, in good standing, of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), and have at least 3 years post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience.

United States citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Applicants should have strong computer skills, superior oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills,

*Salary Information: *Assistant United States Attorney's pay is administratively determined based, in part, on the number of years of professional attorney experience. The range of basic pay is $51,917 to $153,176 (this salary range includes 14.16% locality pay.
