Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas

This position will be assigned to the F-35 Wing Mate/Systems Manufacturing Engineering Team. This position supports the Wing build team. Responsibilities include maintaining manufacturing plans, aircraft build sequence, production tooling requirements, production floor support, aircraft nonconformance repair, and coordinating changes to the production build. Execute cost reduction initiatives and perform root cause and corrective action. Position start date January 2018.

Basic Qualifications -Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner. -Must have the ability to read engineering blueprints and tool designs. -Must have good written and oral communication skills. -Must have a firm working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired skills -3D Solid Modeling/CATIA experience -Motivated multi-tasker who is comfortable in a manufacturing environment -Previous related manufacturing/engineering experience -Must be a motivated, self starter able to solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
