Su mmary: The Quality Analyst is responsible for supporting the Shared Services Center in all quality initiatives. The Analyst will support the SSC by regularly conducting quality reviews, identifying trends and reporting results to the leadership team and supporting process improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide support for any quality initiatives within the Shared Services Center

  • Review work product from various SSC departments for accuracy and appropriate processing

  • Identifies performance improvement opportunities based on needs identified through data audits

  • Gathers business requirements for training development through the identification of trends during the quality verification process

  • Provides data interpretation and act as a subject matter expert as needed

  • Provide classroom support to the training team as needed

  • Assist with maintenance of QA work instructions and processes

  • Develops training materials in partnership with the education team with the aim to improve quality outcomes

  • Other duties may be assigned

Knowledge/Abilities:

Required

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively by developing relationships with leaders, peers and/or others that facilitate open dialogue and trust

  • In-depth knowledge ofmedical revenue cycle processes

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and terminology

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully,

Required

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Preferred

  • Previous AS400 experience

  • Proficiency of SSC processes and Artiva workflow

  • Previous Hyland OnBase experience

Certificates and Licenses: None Required

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Education/Experience:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required

  • 1 year experience gathering requirements and analyzing data

  • Healthcare experience

Preferred

  • Bachelor s degree preferred or a minimum 3 years total experience and knowledge of quality management tools

  • 1-3 years experience in a quality improvement role preferred
