Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Web Developer to support operations at our Ft. Huachuca, AZ location.

The web developer team member is responsible for documentation, coding, and testing of dynamically generated web pages integrating to databases. Each member works as a team to ensure the success of the project and takes direction from the task leader.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The web developer team member will create new dashboards and manage existing dashboards using Visual Studio, .NET, VB, jQuery, and JavaScript

Create backend objects using SQL and will integrate existing databases to provide an overall view of the programs for leadership to make informed decisions

Designs and creates well designed and efficient code, working closely with other team members

Gets things done. Takes ownership of moderately complex tasks and drives them to completion

Continuously acts to enhance knowledge of new technologies, and development processes

You will have increased responsibilities for testing, documentation, and configuration

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Information Technology or other hard science AND 0-10 years of directly related experience is required for this position.

A strong understanding of web page development, VB, .NET experience, and database design, development, and integration

Strong computer software architecture background

A thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles, design, and implementation

Ability to write well designed, testable, and efficient code

Demonstrated experience in using relative problem solving and ability to effectively communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions

Desired qualifications:

Security SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
