The General Manager is responsible for overall management and business development of the property, including the delivery of consistent quality and value to our guests, creation of a positive work environment, development of property team members’ skills, facilitation of team members achieving performance goals, supervision of property team members, ensuring compliance by all property team members with company policies and procedures, dissemination of relevant company information to all property team members while achieving sales performance and profit objectives and maintaining a safe, secure and hospitable environment for our guests and Team Members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, hospitality certification, or equivalent level of experience
Three to five years of related job experience in operations management including one to three years of prior progressive supervisory experience (hotel, restaurant, or retail experience strongly preferred)
Possess a valid driver’s license
Full understanding and experience with P&L
Ability to develop financial plans/budget
Strong sales and marketing experience including community relations
Advanced level of reading, writing and mathematical ability
Strong attention to detail in order to motivate team to high quality standards in service, cleanliness, and asset management
Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
Proven ability to lead, direct and supervise a diverse staff
Computer proficiency, including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in performing managerial duties and responsibilities.
Candidate will need the ability to travel 85-100% of the time.
