Service Area Overview: You don’t have to be in direct patient care to work at Northside. The Patient Access Department allows you to work in a business setting, while still being part of an organization that really does care for people. We provide patient information and registration for services at each of the Northside Hospital facilities. This team of courteous and caring individuals anticipate and respond promptly to questions and concerns surrounding patient registration activities.

Position Description: The Lead Patient Access Rep will be responsible for directing and coordinating the registration functions and personnel.The duties of this position require the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with patients, families, and others to maintain sound public relations.

Position Requirements: Minimum of two years experience in admitting or related field.Demonstrated knowledge of admitting functions and responsibilities.Ability to work independently, and train and direct others.Work Schedule: Work an ocassional Saturday. Must be flexible to work all day shifts between the hrs of 5a-5:30p

Work Hours: 8a-4:30p

Weekend Requirements: No

On-Call Requirements: No
