Position at Renovation/Remodeling

The Product Manager will profitably grow product groups by developing, implementing and driving marketing/business strategies along with tactical action plans. The role will act as the voice of customer using end-user market research insights, customer POS, and macro market trends to effectively manage the product portfolio and drive new product development.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop the annual integrated marketing plans for assigned product categories using data driven information

  • Manage the execution of the new product development roadmap to capitalize on key market opportunities

  • Develop and implement thorough price strategies and promotions to grow the business in assigned product areas

  • Perform thorough competitive product analysis aimed at understanding the strengths and weaknesses of our competitive products

  • Participate in capacity planning efforts working with manufacturing and engineering areas

  • Manage the financial performance of assigned product categories by utilizing ITW business philosophies and other key performance indicators

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Required. Degree in Business, Marketing, or comparable discipline preferred; MBA preferred

  • 5+ years of product development and product management experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly in the areas of retail line review presentation creation and delivery

  • Strong data analysis skills specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Thorough knowledge of new product development and commercialization a must

  • B2C experience preferred

  • Experience managing hard line product category greater than $80M with multiple brands/product lines a plus.

  • Up to 20% travel
