Alpine, an ITW company, currently has an opening for a Customer Service Representative position in its Grand Prairie, TX facility to be responsible for processing of customer warranty and replacement orders, resolving equipment customer complaints, updating ERP system parameters and maintaining accurate customer, supplier and SKU information.

Source mechanical and electrical components for equipment and obtain price/lead time information while working with other departments.
Communicate with customers regarding requests for pricing and product inquiries.
Enter customer orders into ERP System.
Collect payment for any Cash In Advance accounts.
Follow-up with suppliers during the manufacturing and delivery process ensuring Alpine service resources and customers are kept informed on field replacement orders continually.
Work actively with procurement and operations regarding proper maintenance of ERP system/SKU parameters in order to maintain system integrity.
Facilitate resolution of material quality, documentation or receiving/invoicing discrepancies.
Provide data, reports and summary metrics for RGA process, key customers, delayed/aged deliveries and outstanding field warranty/replacement open issues.
Other duties as deemed necessary.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Customer Service and/or purchasing experience (2 years or more) within a manufacturing/product engineering industry
Possess solid problem solving skills coupled with strong drive to innovate and achieve results
Ability to communicate concisely and clearly both verbally and electronically
Strong organization, multi-tasking and team/interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience with an ERP system – 1 year or more preferred
