This position is responsible for the planning, organizing, supervising and administering the work activities of the applications analyst staff working in support of the company’s administrative and business services network and client/server application systems needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensures that application functional designs are sound and integrated with existing systems. • Drafts installation and operating procedure manuals for helpdesk
• Tests report applications for corporate systems • Enhances applications for end user reporting • Provides application technical and functional support for help desk • Schedules and reviews computer operation jobs for corporate systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis • Monitors, troubleshoots and tunes system performance in partnership with technical database administrators, developers and vendors • Assists with evaluating and diagnosing problems and recommends troubleshooting activity • Runs applications designed to produce interface files for external systems • Participates in testing phase by developing test plan • Assists with application system and database software upgrades • Provides program specification support for business analyst (s) • Provides support for table maintenance and system table updates • Adheres to configuration change control standards for system changes • Provide leadership, direction and mentorship to team • Performs coaching and provides reviews at least annually • Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by Senior Management

Knowledge Requirements: • MS Dynamics AX development • X+

  • • MorphX • MS Office • ITIL process • GERS

Professional Experience • 5+ years IT experience
• 1+ year of managerial experience preferred • 3+ years Retail experience

Education/Training • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals
