Weatherford Commercial Analyst - Contracts Coordinator in HOUSTON, Texas
Provide support to sales groups, internal and external customers based on knowledge of company products and services. Primary duty is to facilitate the contract process while maintaining a repository of contracts and managing the contracts lifecycle.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain contractual records and documents as to current, expired, and pending status. Maintain relating correspondence such as contractual changes, extensions, amendments etc. Know and understand Weatherford’s approval requirements including execution authority per legal entity.
Create weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for management.
Coordinate the flow of information between the VPs of the US Regions, Area Management, Sales and the customer in the preparation, negotiation and distribution of contracts.
Oversee multiple contracts concurrently according to deadlines set by the customer as well as internal customers. Organizational skills are essential.
Provide constructive solutions if faced with obstacles; be pro-active.
Collaborate with customers and Weatherford Sales & Operations to accomplish work objectives.
Coordinate the flow of various contracts and documents between the Legal, Sales, Credit, Tax, Risk Management, HSE, Compliance departments and other departments as required.
Assist in the resolution of various issues arising from audits undertaken by customers.
Work assignments must be carried out to the highest degree of accuracy and time sensitivity.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer literacy; specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint
Proven ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
Knowledge of how departments interact to achieve corporate goals
Ability to work well in a team oriented environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry
Must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work well with all levels of personnel
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of business information.
Prior experience in Contracts Administration
