We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill our construction related storefront Project Manager position in Houston, Texas. The function of this position is to provide a great customer experience by: entering/processing orders, creating purchase orders, inputting job orders, creating fabrication sheets, and coordinating with production schedules. Being able to handle issues such as questions from the customer, order status, delays, and others issues are very important.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Successfully enter/process orders for the following products: Standard stock lengths, custom stock lengths, standard doors, custom doors, door hardware, brake-metal, curves, sunshades.

  • Accurately create purchase orders for buy-out items

  • Accurately enter jobs into order system (Surpass)

  • Create door fabrication sheet for OBE quotes, custom take-offs, architectural drawings, and shop drawings

  • Coordinate with production to schedule product delivery dates to meet customer’s needs

  • Organized with the ability to handle numerous projects and prioritize workload

  • Field questions from customers regarding product, lead times, and order status.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Identify issues that would cause delays in material delivery, communicate internally and with customers to resolve such issues and satisfy customer’s delivery requirements

  • Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job


  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a construction related customer service role, preferably in the glazing or architectural aluminum industry

  • Must have strong math skills. Able to convert inches to feet and vice versa.

  • Strong customer service skills as well as the ability to negotiate customer conflict

  • Industry experience a plus

  • Must be able to communicate effectively & conduct themselves professionally; excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects and prioritize workload with minimal supervision

  • Professional and pleasant telephone etiquette

  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Windows environment

  • Basic knowledge of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope standard products and their applications a plus
